Jill Myers is currently appearing in "Heart & Stone" taking the lead as Anna in a new touring play by RSC award winning writer Peter Roberts . Details as below.
It's showtime at your local church. Wayward parishioners and eccentric parsons take centre-nave in an epic of passion, pain, laughter and heartbreak across the centuries, as presented by Anna the vicar and her community of players. Bringing to life the building's vibrant history, from Black Death to Great War via the Reformation, they celebrate daily life in the parish, its festivals and follies. But for Anna, her arty sister Jo and their menfolk, it's also about deeply personal history and spiritual challenges. There's no chance of snoozing in the pews with New Theatre Works. Peter Roberts' gripping play, under the inspired direction of Estelle van Warmelo, brings theatre back to its birthplace. It's fun - but it's also about faith. Seeing is believing!
There will be post-show discussions at all venues.
